Speaker Profile

Dr Tiziana Ferrero-Regis is Associate Professor in fashion at the Queensland University of Technology and co-leader of the research group TextileR at QUT. Tiziana combines a background in the fashion industry with a scholarly background in fashion studies, circularity and sustainability. Her research focusses on circular economy in local contexts. Tiziana has led teams researching and mapping the fashion and textiles industry in the Greater Brisbane Region; reporting on sustainable procurement for a local public institution; policy consultation for textile circularity in Queensland.
