Dr Scott Valentine is Professor of Circular Economy, Entrepreneurship and Energy Policy at the University of Brunei Darussalam and Chairman of Asia Circular. Prior to his return to academic, Scott established the Circular Economy Advisory Group and KPMG Australia. He was a former Professor at Kyushu University and Associate Dean of Sustainability and Urban Planning at RMIT in Melbourne, with over 30 years of diverse international business experience. Scott is a widely published author and provides expert support for projects around the circular economy. He has led major research and applied CE projects in Denmark, Holland and Australia around the circular economy with focus on corporate strategy and public policy design and implementation. He represents Standards Australia on international development of an ISO standard for the Circular Economy and is the Chair of the Australia Circular Economy Hub’s Advisory Board.
