Speaker Profile

Oliver is a Senior Consultant at GHD, based in Canberra, with12+ years of global experience with industries and the public sector in sustainable water management, sustainability strategy, climate change and resilience. He obtained a master’s degree in water management engineering from Dresden University of Technology, Germany in 2010, including studying in Japan and Australia. He previously worked globally with the WWF as Corporate Partnership Manager and Water Stewardship Specialist out of Switzerland and Australia, and independently out of Austria. Since 2018 he is exploring Circular Economy in the context of sustainable water management and supported the development of the WBCSD Circular Transition Indicators for water. At GHD he has been working on the intersection of CE and climate change across sectors and system scales.
