Valentina Petrone is WSP’s Circular Economy lead in Australia & New Zealand. She has unique skills combining 16 years’ experience as trained Architect with in-depth knowledge of Circular Economy Design Principles for the built environment at different scales of intervention. She studied at TU Delft University, a leader in Circular Economy education in Europe, and has co-authored the Circular Design Guidelines for NSW OECC to facilitate the transition to a Circular Built Environment. She has also successfully delivered pioneering Circular Economy projects in Australia with a focus on ‘Designing-out waste’ from the outset along with developing a holistic Circularity Assessment tool.
