Marcus Dawe is a climate thought leader, serial tech entrepreneur, board member and Chair based in Canberra, Australia. Marcus is CEO and co-founder of MCi Carbon, an award-winning Australian clean technology platform transforming CO2 emissions into building materials and other valuable industrial products for the circular economy.
Marcus focuses his activities on developing and supporting ventures that provide Australia with a global innovation edge, employing strategy, design and systems thinking.
Marcus is chair of several organisations and advises on government committees, boards of start-ups, scientific & non-for-profit boards & committees. In 2023, Marcus was awarded the ACT Chief Minister Pearcey Award, the Wholistic World Innovation Prize and received special mention at the AmCham Alliance Awards. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
