A former journalist and sustainability communications professional, Amanda Kane now manages the NSW Environmental Protection Authority’s organics program. With a $69 million budget, Amanda and her team are delivering on NSW’ commitment for net zero emissions of organics waste in landfill by 2030 and supporting the roll out of kerbside food and garden waste collections to every household in NSW. Her presentation will focus on how the right policy setting, program support and a whole of stream approach is delivering circularity in action in Australia today.
