Kat Heinrich is a director and principal consultant at Rawtec, and past recipient of the GISA Women in Circular Economy Leadership award. She has a background in economics and brings over a decade of experience helping organisations to reduce their waste and transition to more circular practices.
Kat has led numerous projects measuring Australia’s shift toward a circular economy, including developing Victoria’s first state-wide circular metrics framework, populating circular metrics for SA, and delivering Australia’s most comprehensive study quantifying reuse activity and impacts in NSW. Kat champions the importance of measuring what matters to guide better policymaking and investments for communities and businesses.
