In the organisation and production of the event by Diversified Communications Australia, we draw upon the 10 R-strategies; recover, recycle, repurpose, remanufacture, refurbish, repair, reuse, reduce, rethink and refuse.
Pillars of Sustainability
We are serving a carbon friendly menu consisting of vegetarian and sustainable food options.
We will reuse, repurpose, or recycle any signage printed at the event.
Any waste generated will be sorted into the appropriate streams for recycling.
We will recycle both our lanyards and badges post event.
We are refusing single use bottles, and encourage attendees utilise the water refill stations.
Where possible we refuse printing and opt for reuse alternatives, such as technology, to communicate messages.
All furniture and temporary structures are hired and will be repaired, refurbished, and reused, at multiple events, throughout their lifecycle.
