Planet Ark Welcome

Circularity is brought to you by Planet Ark's Australian Circular Economy (ACE) Hub.

Paul Klymenko, CEO

Climate change, resource depletion and environmental degradation represent some of the greatest challenges of our times and are a direct result of our current economic model. To tackle these issues we need a systems-wide redesign and transition to a carbon neutral circular economy.

Transitioning our take-make-use-dispose linear economic model to one that is circular and regenerative by design is critical if we are to reduce the impacts of climate change and protect the natural systems that sustain us.

To be a catalyst in this transition in the Asia Pacific region, the Australian Circular Economy Hub (ACE Hub) and Diversified Communications Australia will launch Circularity 2022, a dedicated annual circular economy conference. The event will act as a platform for circular economy thought leadership around the country, facilitating dialogue and action between the brightest minds in the field, building on their existing good work and putting a spotlight on this vital subject.

Domestic and international systems-thinkers from the public and private sector will gather to outline the challenges we face, recognise the opportunities on offer and, most importantly, activate tangible solutions within Australia and the region.

An initiative of Planet Ark, the ACE Hub is Australia’s most comprehensive resource for businesses, government and communities to increase knowledge, collaborate and expedite the adoption of a circular economy in Australia. As Australia’s leading national platform for accelerating our transition to a circular economy, the ACE Hub is well placed to guide the country’s premier national circular economy conference.

An esteemed steering committee of government and industry representatives has been assembled to assist in curating the event’s central themes.

Business and government leaders, circular economy practitioners, sustainability professionals, waste and environmental management, academics and all those interested in a circular future are invited to join with us to share knowledge, network and be a part of this important discussion.
