KOi Refillable Foaming Handwash Starter Kit and Refill Tablets
Coles is aligned to the 2025 National Packaging Targets (‘Targets’). To deliver against the Targets, we developed our R3 Packaging Framework which is executed through our sourcing process. Our framework is underpinned by three pillars: Redesign: remove non-recyclable materials or reduce to a minimum; Recycle: ensure packaging gets recycled as much as possible and Reimagine: find new ways to reuse materials. In alignment with the three pillars, we developed the KOi Refillable Foaming Handwash Starter Kit (‘Starter Kit’) and the KOi 4 Pack Refillable Handwash Tablets (‘Refill Tablets’). The Starter Kit includes a reusable bottle and pump, and 2 concentrated hand wash tablets. Consumers just need to add water to the bottle to create a luxurious foaming hand wash solution. Featuring a reusable bottle made from 30% recycled HDPE, and refillable tablet packaging that is 85% lighter in weight than a traditional single use handwash bottle. The Starter Kit and Refill Tablets launched at Coles Supermarkets nationally on 13th February 2023.
